Self Defence
Even after more than 70 years of independence, crimes against women in India continue to rise at an alarming rate. Among these, rape remains one of the most horrifying and common crimes. As per the 2019 report by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), a staggering 32,033 rape cases were reported across the country—averaging 88 cases every single day. While the numbers showed a slight dip from 2018, the scale of the issue remains deeply concerning. Women in India continue to face threats to their safety, dignity, and freedom, with many incidents still going unreported due to fear or social stigma.
At Happy To Help Worship, we believe that awareness, preparedness, and empowerment are key to changing this narrative. That’s why we have launched the “NO MORE CANDLE” campaign—aimed at shifting from mourning after violence to preventing it before it happens.

Under this initiative, we organize self-defense workshops and training sessions that equip women and girls with practical techniques and confidence to protect themselves against unexpected threats. Our goal is not just safety, but empowerment—building a society where women can walk freely and fearlessly. Together, let’s move from protest to prevention, from helplessness to strength.
